SPD202plus/Ex Alarm and Measurement Notes

The display uses white characters during normal measurement. Above ALA1, the characters turn green and flash with a repeating alarm. Above ALA2, the characters turn red and flash with a faster alarm. ALA2 must be set higher than ALA1.

Perform zero calibration in clean air before measurement when the display does not read 0.0% LEL.
Do not spray lighter gas directly at the sensor or leave the detector in high-concentration gas for long periods.
Keep the instrument and probe away from water, severe vibration and mechanical damage.
Annual calibration by a qualified laboratory or organization is recommended for measurement accuracy.
