The SPD202plus/Ex is a handheld combustible gas leak detector for concentration measurement and leak checks involving natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), coal gas and hydrocarbon gases. It uses a catalytic-combustion sensor, a flexible 340 mm probe and adjustable audible and visual alarms.
SPD202plus/Ex Key Features
- Switchable 0-100% LEL and 0-5000 x10 ppm measurement ranges, with 0.1% LEL and 5 x10 ppm resolution.
- Flexible 340 mm gooseneck probe for reaching varied measurement locations.
- Two adjustable alarm thresholds with audible alerts and colour-changing display characters.
- Stores up to 99 measurements during the current power-on session.
- Zero calibration function and low-battery indication.

SPD202plus/Ex Safety and Care
- Perform zero calibration in clean air before measurement when the display does not read 0.0% LEL.
- Do not spray lighter gas directly at the sensor or leave the detector in high-concentration gas for long periods.
- Keep the instrument and probe away from water, severe vibration and mechanical damage.
- Annual calibration by a qualified laboratory or organization is recommended for measurement accuracy.
Warning: Take appropriate action immediately when the instrument alarms to prevent injury or loss.
