Controls and Connections

  • Front panel: STOP, START, POWER, LCD display, function keys, high-voltage output and RTN/LOW terminal
  • Rear panel: LAN, RS485, USB, RS232C, HANDLER, earth terminal and AC power inlet

How to Use

  1. Ground the tester through a three-wire socket or the rear protective ground terminal, and check the fuse matches your supply voltage.
  2. Press STOP once, confirm the HV indicator is off, then connect the high-voltage clip and the RTN/LOW test lead to the device under test.
  3. Press Mode and set the AC test voltage, current upper and lower limits, arc, test time, rise and fall time and 50/60 Hz frequency. Save multi-step programs with F5/Save.
  4. Press START. The tester shows PASS when the test completes within limits, or stops the output and shows HI, LOW, ARC, SHORT or GFI FAIL.

For full setup steps, HANDLER wiring and RS232/RS485/LAN commands, read the RK9320B AC hipot tester user manual page or download the English user manual PDF.

Selection Notes

This RK9320B configuration is for AC withstand voltage testing. For workflows that require DC withstand voltage or insulation resistance testing, choose a different configuration from the RK93XX series.
