How to Use

  1. Prepare a clean, dry coated test panel. For aluminum panels, keep the long edge parallel to the rolling direction.

  2. Select a mandrel diameter and fix the panel between the rotating handle and the support plate.

  3. Rotate the handle smoothly to bend the panel up to 180°. Keep motion uniform (about 1–2 s).

  4. Release and remove the panel; observe the bent area with a 10× magnifier.

  5. Result: record the smallest mandrel diameter at which the coating shows no cracking or peeling. If even the smallest diameter has no defects, note that diameter accordingly.

Tip: For multi-coat systems, confirm after full curing. Compare both sides of the bend if needed.
