The FMFPAX NK Series is a mechanical dial push pull force gauge for measuring tension and compression from 10 N to 500 N (1 to 50 kgf). It is for QC inspectors, labs and production lines that need a quick force reading without batteries, software or charging.

Setup and Maintenance

1. Pick the model whose capacity exceeds your maximum load; never overload the gauge.
2. Screw the required test head onto the M6 shaft, using the extension rod if needed.
3. Set PEAK or TRACK on the mode dial and zero the pointer before each test.
4. Apply force in line with the shaft; do not bend, twist or load it sideways.
5. Do not disassemble the gauge. Store it in its case, clean and dry.

FAQ

What force ranges are available?

Eight ranges are available: 10 N, 20 N, 30 N, 50 N, 100 N, 200 N, 300 N and 500 N (1 to 50 kgf). Choose a model whose full scale is above your highest expected load.

What is the resolution of each model?

Resolution runs from 0.05 N on the NK-10 to 2.5 N on the NK-500. The full list is in the model table above.

Does the gauge need batteries or charging?

No. It is fully mechanical and works without any power source.

Can it hold the maximum reading?

Yes. Turn the mode dial to PEAK to hold the maximum value, or to TRACK for real-time reading, then press zero to reset.

Does it measure both push and pull?

Yes. It measures tension (pull, upper scale direction) and compression (push), using the hook or the push heads.

Is a gauge included with the test stand?

No. The horizontal and vertical test stands are sold separately and do not include a gauge.

Which test heads are included with a gauge?

Each gauge variant includes an extension rod plus hook, cone, flat, chisel and V-notch heads, packed in a carrying case.
