This continuous herb pulverizer is a Chinese herbal medicine grinder for dry, hard herbs such as notoginseng, dendrobium and American ginseng. Herbs go into the feed hopper, pass through a dual-cavity grinding chamber with six hammers, and come out as fine powder in the collecting bag. The KF-25 (2500 W) grinds 5-30 kg/h (11-66 lb/h) at 40-150 mesh. The KF-30 (3000 W) grinds 8-35 kg/h (18-77 lb/h) at 40-180 mesh. Both run on 220 V, and this herb powder machine ships with 4 screens, 2 cloth bags, a brush, an overload protector and a support rod.
Key Benefits
- Two-stage grinding in one flow: the upper and lower cavities coarse-grind first, then 6 hammers and the chamber wall fine-grind. Herbs flow from hopper to bag in one continuous run.
- Power for hard herbs: a copper-coil motor rated 2500 W (KF-25) or 3000 W (KF-30) turns at 2840 r/min. Each model is built for continuous feeding.
- Selectable fineness: 4 screens (40, 60, 80 and 100 mesh) are included. Swap the middle-layer screen to change the powder grade, across 40 to 150 mesh (KF-25) or 40 to 180 mesh (KF-30).
- 304 stainless steel contact surfaces: every surface that touches the herbs is 304 stainless steel in this stainless steel pulverizer. The body is aluminum alloy.
- Built-in protection: a micro-switch cuts power if the chamber is not locked, an overload switch stops the motor on overload or overheating, and an ammeter shows the running current.

Herb Grinding Machine for Dry, Hard Herbs
Use this herb grinding machine for dry, hard herbal materials. It is suited to these:
- Notoginseng: 30-count notoginseng is ground directly in one pass, with no sieving step.
- Dendrobium: dry dendrobium is ground to fine powder.
- American ginseng: dry American ginseng, ground as a ginseng grinder.
- Other dry, hard herbs: other dry, hard herbal materials.

Who It's For / Not For
Who it's for
- Users who grind dry, hard Chinese herbal materials, such as notoginseng, dendrobium or American ginseng, into powder.
- Users who want a traditional Chinese medicine grinder that works as a continuous feeding herb pulverizer instead of taking one small batch at a time.
- Users who need an output of 5-35 kg/h (11-77 lb/h) from a machine 55-63.5 cm (21.7-25.0 in) tall.
- Users who want to change powder fineness between 40 and 180 mesh by swapping screens.
Not for
- Oily, sticky or wet herbs. They are not recommended; a workaround is under How to Use below.
- 110 V outlets. Both models are rated 220 V only.
- Powder finer than 150 mesh on the KF-25 or 180 mesh on the KF-30, which are the listed limits.
Parts and Their Names

- Support rod: holds the tail of the dust bag.
- Dust bag: fits over the upper outlet.
- Feed hopper: herbs go in here.
- Ring lock buckle: locks the grinding chamber cover. The high-temperature seal strip around the cover keeps powder in.
- Micro-switch: cuts power if the chamber is not locked.
- Grinding chamber: 304 stainless steel.
- Collecting bag: fits over the lower outlet and catches the powder.
- Switch box with ammeter: on/off switch, current gauge and overload switch.
- Non-slip foot pad: keeps the base in place.
How to Use the Pulverizer to Grind Herbs into Powder
- Open the grinding chamber cover and install a screen. The screen edge must not sit higher than the grinding chamber.
- Close the cover and tighten the lock buckle. The micro-switch keeps the machine from running while the chamber is unlocked.
- Fit the elastic end of the dust bag over the upper outlet and hang its tail on the support rod. Fit the collecting bag over the lower outlet, fold its tail a few times and clamp it. Fit both bags before every run.
- Switch on and wait for the bags to inflate, then start feeding herbs. Watch the ammeter and keep the current under 15 A to avoid overloading.
- Switch off, gently shake the collecting bag so the powder falls to the bottom, remove the clamp and pour out the powder. After feeding ends, let the machine run a little longer to clear the chamber, then switch off.

If your herbs are sticky or oily
- Coarse-grind the non-oily, non-sticky ingredients of the formula first. Mix that coarse powder with the oily or sticky ingredients and grind again. Keep the oily or sticky share small, and use the coarsest screen that works.
- Freeze the oily or sticky material overnight, take it out and grind it right away. Watch the machine temperature; if it rises, stop and let the machine cool before grinding again.
What's in the Box
- Pulverizer, KF-25 or KF-30 as ordered x 1
- Dust bag x 1
- Collecting bag x 1
- Brush x 1
- Overload protector x 1
- Support rod x 1
- Screens x 4 (40, 60, 80 and 100 mesh; one is already installed)

KF-25 vs KF-30: How to Choose
| KF-25 | KF-30 | |
|---|---|---|
| Power | 2500 W | 3000 W |
| Output | 5-30 kg/h (11-66 lb/h) | 8-35 kg/h (18-77 lb/h) |
| Finest screen range | 150 mesh | 180 mesh |
| Machine size (W x H) | 24 x 55 cm (9.4 x 21.7 in) | 26.4 x 63.5 cm (10.4 x 25.0 in) |
| Gross weight | 30 kg (66.1 lb) | 34 kg (75.0 lb) |
Choose the KF-25 if your batches fit 5-30 kg/h (11-66 lb/h) and you want the smaller, lighter machine. Choose the KF-30 if you need 8-35 kg/h (18-77 lb/h) or a finer 180 mesh powder.
Care and Safety
- Always lock the chamber cover before switching on. The micro-switch cuts power if it is open.
- Keep the current under 15 A. If the ammeter reads high, slow down or stop feeding.
- If the overload switch trips, stop feeding, let the motor cool and press the switch to reset.
- Keep the base heat vent clear. It releases motor heat from the base.

FAQ
What is a herb grinder machine used for?
It grinds dry, hard herbs into powder. Suited herbs include notoginseng, dendrobium and American ginseng. Oily, sticky or wet herbs are not recommended.
How to grind herbs into powder with this pulverizer?
Install a screen, lock the chamber, fit the dust bag and collecting bag, switch on, wait for the bags to inflate, then feed herbs into the hopper. Keep the ammeter under 15 A. The full 5 steps are in the How to Use section above.
How does this pulverizer work?
Herbs drop from the hopper into the upper cavity, where the upper and lower cavities coarse-grind them. In the lower cavity, 6 hammers and the chamber wall fine-grind the material. Powder passes the screen and drops into the collecting bag.
KF-25 or KF-30: how to choose between 2500 W and 3000 W?
Choose by output and fineness. The KF-25 (2500 W) grinds 5-30 kg/h (11-66 lb/h) at 40-150 mesh and weighs 30 kg (66 lb). The KF-30 (3000 W) grinds 8-35 kg/h (18-77 lb/h) at 40-180 mesh and weighs 34 kg (75 lb). Both run on 220 V.
How fine is the powder, and can I change the mesh?
Yes, swap the middle-layer screen to change the mesh. Four screens come in the box: 40, 60, 80 and 100 mesh, and one is already installed. The outer and innermost layers stay in place. This fine powder grinding machine reaches 150 mesh on the KF-25 and 180 mesh on the KF-30.
Can it grind oily or sticky herbs?
No, oily, sticky and wet herbs are not recommended. If you must grind them, coarse-grind the non-oily ingredients first, mix them with a small share of the oily material and grind again. Or freeze the oily material overnight and grind it at once, stopping to cool the machine if it heats up.
