The FMFPAX 500N manual force gauge test stand holds a push-pull gauge so you can apply load smoothly and repeatably. Choose from four models: the ALX vertical screw stand with top hand wheel and 150 mm test stroke, or the AST lever-operated stand with hand-press lever and 85 mm test stroke, each available with or without a digital travel scale.

Force Gauge Mounting Hole Pattern

The gauge mounting plate fits force gauges with a four-hole M4 pattern: 40 mm horizontal x 90 mm vertical hole spacing. The reference photo shows this pattern on the back of an SF-500 gauge (body approx. 140 x 60 mm). Please check the back of your gauge against these dimensions before ordering.

Typical Applications

Push-pull force testing of terminals, buckles and clips, adhesive tape, ropes and chains, wires and fishing line, as well as wire and solder joint pull-off tests with a compatible force gauge and fixture.

Does this test stand include a force gauge?

No. This listing is for the test stand only. The gauge in the photos is for reference and must be purchased separately.

Is this a manual or motorized test stand?

It is a manual test stand. The ALX models are driven by a hand wheel and lead screw, and the AST models by a hand-press lever. There is no motor.

Which force gauges fit this stand?

The mounting plate fits gauges with an M4 four-hole pattern of 40 x 90 mm, such as NK, HP, SF, HF and ZP series push-pull gauges. Compare the hole spacing on the back of your gauge before ordering.

What is the difference between the ALX and AST stands?

The ALX is a vertical screw stand loaded by a top handwheel, with a 150 mm test stroke. The AST is a lever stand loaded by a side hand-press lever, with an 85 mm test stroke and a shorter, 415 mm overall height.

What does the "S" in ALX-S and AST-S mean?

The S models add a digital travel scale with an LCD display: 150 mm on the ALX-S and 100 mm on the AST-S. The J models have no digital scale.

What is the maximum load?

All four models are rated for a maximum load of 500N.

How heavy is the stand?

The ALX models weigh approx. 11 kg net, and the AST models approx. 12 kg net.
