Installation and vacuum chuck setup

  1. Place the coater on a flat, stable surface in a well-ventilated fume hood as appropriate for the coating material. Keep a 20 cm safety zone around it.
  2. Check the nameplate voltage and use a grounded outlet. Connect the external vacuum pump using the specified tubing.
  3. Install the chuck fully onto the spindle, aligning its notch with the spindle pin. Keep the chuck clean and its central opening clear.
  4. Center the substrate. It must cover the chuck vacuum surface, including the O-ring. Close the lid before spinning.

Frequently asked questions

Where is the English language setting?

How many recipes can be saved?

The supplied manual describes five Standard Mode recipes, A–E, with five steps per recipe. Easy Mode retains the last single-step process.

Can the vacuum valve be switched manually?

The manual describes manual vacuum control from the working screen for testing. The vacuum valve cannot be shut off during a running process.

Does 1 RPM resolution mean 1 RPM accuracy?

No. Resolution is the adjustment increment. This manual does not specify a separate speed-accuracy tolerance.

Is the power supply universal?

The manual lists separate 100–120 V and 200–230 V versions. Do not assume universal input from this document; verify the actual nameplate and order configuration.
