How to Confirm a Packaging Machine Before Ordering from China

Buying a packaging machine from overseas is easier when the required details are confirmed before payment. This guide explains the information FMF Supply asks buyers to prepare so the product type, configuration and application can be checked more clearly.

Start with the product and container

Send photos, dimensions and material information for the product that will be packed. For bottles, jars, pouches, caps or labels, include the outside diameter, height, opening size, label size, bag width or other measurements that affect machine selection.

Confirm the packing task

  • What material will be filled, sealed, capped, labeled, coded or packed?
  • Is the product liquid, paste, powder, granule, solid, film, paper, plastic or metal?
  • What package size range must the machine handle?
  • Is the job manual, semi-automatic or connected to an existing line?

Check power, air and workspace conditions

Before ordering, confirm voltage, plug type, phase, frequency, compressed-air availability, air pressure, machine footprint and available working space. Many small packaging machines require the correct local power setup or an external air source.

Ask about change parts and accessories

Some machines need molds, filling nozzles, capping heads, label sensors, sealing jaws, coding ribbons, cutters or other parts matched to the buyer's container. Confirm whether these parts are included, selected as options or prepared separately.

Use photos and manuals carefully

Supplier photos and manuals help confirm structure, buttons, ports, labels, accessories and operating steps. They should not be used to invent factory capacity, certification, warranty terms or compatibility that has not been confirmed.

What FMF Supply checks

FMF Supply reviews product information, buyer requirements, supplier details and visible product details before quoting or publishing key claims. If a specification, certification, factory capacity, warranty term or compatibility point is not confirmed, we do not present it as guaranteed.

Information to send before ordering

  • Product photos and dimensions.
  • Package or container photos and dimensions.
  • Target output speed, if required.
  • Voltage, plug and compressed-air conditions.
  • Required accessories, spare parts or consumables.
  • Any document, manual or compliance requirement your company needs before purchase.

Clear confirmation reduces wrong-machine risk and makes industrial sourcing more practical for both the buyer and the supplier.
