The upgraded RLD-382P is a portable HVAC refrigerant leak detector for locating halogen and Freon refrigerant leaks in refrigeration and air-conditioning systems. A built-in low-power air pump draws the sample toward the semiconductor gas sensor, while the flexible probe reaches around pipes, joints, valves, and other refrigeration components.

Three selectable sensitivity levels support broad leak searching and closer pinpointing. The detector responds in under 0.5 seconds and uses LED leak-level indication, an audible buzzer, and vibration alerts.
